my9albums has no accounts and doesn’t ask for anything about you. This is what it keeps.

On your device

Your nine albums, their order and the name on your poster are saved on your device, so they are there when you come back. So are albums you add yourself, cover image included: they are never uploaded. Clearing your browser’s data removes them.

When you make a poster

To give the poster a link, we keep its nine albums, the background and whether titles are shown. Not your name or @handle: they only appear on the image you download. Anyone with the link can see those nine albums, and poster links are kept out of search engines. Posters also count toward Most picked, which only shows totals per album.

When you add an album yourself

We keep the album and artist you typed, to know what to add to the catalog next. Nothing about you, and never the cover image.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies, to count visits and see which features get used. It never receives what you type. How Google uses this data.

Removing a poster’s link

If you want a poster’s link taken down, send it to nays on X and it will be removed.
